It's Been A Minute: Some Ish I've Been Meaning to Post

1. Pinky "I'm Hot"

If you don't recognize the name Pinky...you probably don't watch porn. You at the very least don't watch contemporary Black porn actress. Like she said "I'm a trendsetter/Don't follow the masses/i'm the reason these hoes get shots in they asses."

You can also find her at www.pinkyxxx.com and her twitter is therealpinkyxxx

2. Adele "Rolling In The Deep"

I am so excited about this album coming out! I love Adele. On of the best concerts I've seen in a while back in like 2008/2009.

3. Whenparentstext.com  and Copyranter are my new crack. I read them all the time.

4. Lil Kim  "Black Friday"

This is just a  bookmark for a much larger conversation. The song starts at 00:19. I love the moment when the recorded scratches and Kim goes "Shut THE FUCK UP!" Hilarious."Pussy so pink its like my kitty saying hello!"

5. Pink Friday, one of the best album's of the year. Roman's Revenge is getting tons of chatter but honestly I think there are much better songs on the album. I love the whole thing actually. Back to Front. Only critique is to take Will.I.Am's part of "Check It Out" off the album. Could have spent years without that. (Dear Black Eye Peas you are more than the WIA back up singers.)

6. I love everything about the new My Chemical Romance album. I love the videos (which one to post which one to post) and I already bought my ticket for when they come to LA next May.

Ok I'll go with  "Sing"

7. Oh have you heard of a little band called The Damned Things? "We've Got A Situation Here"

Scott Ian yo! Andy cut his hair off (old news.) But this is hella good anyway. Metal that doesn't take itself to seriously. I haven't gotten it yet but I've heard amazing things about their album Ironiclast.

Of course there is a whole bunch of political ish that has been going down that I also intend to comment on: "repeal" of DADT, the DREAM Act, LGBT Youth Suicides & the 'new' Anti-Bullying movement, the perils of being a freak in the academy, Black/Brown femme projects I love.
