Guest Post Policy

I am adopting an open guest posting policy.*

Procedure for submitting a post:

1) Email your post to me or comment with a link and indicate that you would like the link to be considered for reposting.

2) I will respond acknowledging that I am reviewing the post.

3) a) I will follow up saying that I will be posting your work with due credit on the blog.

b) I will follow up saying that I will NOT be posting your work with a short explanation as to why not. My decision is FINAL.

4) Within 2-3 days of the follow up email I will post your work to the blog. The longer it takes depends on my personal schedule and the level of linkage in the post (I'm still willing to have guest post that are link heavy though!)



I work to maintain a blog that is a safe space for transpeople, people of color, queer communities (LGBT, BDSM, Leather, etc.,) poor people, all immigrants regardless of citizenship status, and all of the many intersections within those groups. I don't condone slut shaming or disrespecting sex workers.

While I'm willing to entertain *complex* critical conversations about hip-hop, I won't be posting any rants about how black culture died with rap or how its the root of all sexist and heterosexist oppression against black women. Unless, of course, it's well researched and argued, and then maybe you could convince me.

Things to know when submitting a post:

-I don't edit. If you're submitting a post hopefully you've read the blog and therefore you probably already know that (haha, bad grammar is my hallmark.)
-I allow cursing on my blog and in the comments section.
-While I do believe in moderating posts, I am without access to this blog for long stretches of time in the day (namely while I am at work.) Inappropriate responses to your post will be deleted when I get access to the blog. FEEL FREE to email me during the day and let me know there is a comment you want reviewed.
